Specialist Speech & Language Therapist

I have worked as a Speech and Language therapist since completing my qualification in 2014.

I currently work as a specialist speech and language therapist for the NHS with a complex needs caseload working with children with severe neurodisabilities and dysphagia. Within my current role I support young people with oral motor difficulties which can affect their eating and drinking and speech production. I currently work with children and young adults ranging from 3-19 in age.

I have experience working with alternative augmentative communication systems ranging from Makaton, touch cues, objects of reference, low and high tech communication systems. I recently qualified as a Makaton tutor which compliments my work.
